Canada Asia Business Network (CABN) successfully held the 4th Roundtable on Investment Event on Jan 22, 2010 in Radisson Hotel, Richmond, BC. Over 60 potential Chinese investors from China and locally in Vancouver came to the event just prior to the Chinese New Year, and there were a lot of great discussions between the potential investors and the Canadian companies that represent various projects.

CABN and Xiangfan Economic & Trade Delegation reached the intent of cooperat

The Xiangfan Economic Delegation, consisted of 11 delegates and led by the Mayor of the City of Xiangfan, Hubei Province, was invited by Canada Asia Business Network (CABN) to visit Vancouver in mid-December, 2009. CABN hosted a meeting with the delegation on December 18 to discuss issues regarding the economic cooperation and reached the intent of cooperation. As agreed in the meeting, by taking advantages of CABN’s services and networks, Xiangfan enterprises will explore the Canadian market and the advanced technology, invest in environmental protection projects, and partner with Canadian enterprises on brand cooperation.

The success of the KTRAK Cycle Project

KTRAK Cycle owners, Kyle Reeves and Jason Scoffings developed a kit attachment that enables a mountain bike become a petal powered snow machine.  The pair of Qualicum Beach entrepreneurs showcased their product at the Las Vegas Ski Show in 2006 and have been scrambling ever since trying to fill orders.  “We were frustrated by the difficult process to access capital for our start-up business.  We were leaving orders unfilled and even though we got great press coverage the world over, until now, expansion capital eluded us”, said Reeves.
