Hangzhou Industrial Trade & Investment Symposium

According to the recent release by the National Association of Industry and Commerce, 81 enterprises from Hangzhou are on the top 500 Private Enterprises in China, making Hangzhou the number one city in China for 7 years consecutively. Most of the 81 enterprises are from the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Manufacturing industry accounts for half of the city’s GDP and is the central force for Hangzhou’s economic and social development. In recent years, the City of Hangzhou and the city officials actively promote industrial activities by developing better policies and regulations, building industrial parks, and offering trainings, in order to provide a better environment for the prospering manufacturing industry.

CABN successfully held the Roundtable on Investment event

Canada Asia Business Network successfully held the Roundtable on Investment event on August 14, 2009 in Radisson Hotel, Richmond, BC. Many Chinese investors and Canadian companies with interesting projects all attended the event. CABN successfully assisted North American businesses at the CWS and EPTEE 2009

The China Water Show 2009 and the 10th EPTEE for Water, Air, Waste, Energy, and Recycling took place on April 28-30, 2009 in Shanghai, China. The expo attracted over 700 exhibitors and 3000 visitors from more than 50 countries and regions. There were 250 foreign exhibitors and 15 overseas Pavilions, including Canada Asia Business Network’s Canadian Pavilion, USA Pavilion, and others. In addition, various levels of government, associations, and educational institutions also attended the expo, proving that the expo is an excellent gateway for foreign countries to enter the Asian market.
